Tea Masala

Option Tea Masala is a traditional aromatic blend made from premium spices such as cardamom, ginger, pepper etc. for preparing world famous Indian beverage commonly known as Masala Tea (Chai). It is rather a habit to start the day for most of the Indians.



Dry Ginger, Black Pepper, Cassia, Cardamom, Cloves, Mint Leaves, Nutmeg.

Bring 1 cup of water to a boil.  Add 1 tsp tea leaves (chai patti), freshly crushed ginger, lemon grass, mint leaves and Option Tea Masala.  Let it boil for 2 to 3 minutes on a low to medium flame.  Once the flavours are infused properly, pour  1 cup milk and let it simmer for appx. 2 to 3 minutes.  The mixture should turn a bit thicker and darker.  Quantity would decrease  substantially while the process of simmering is in progress.  When you observe the flavours of raw milk vanishing, that's the sign of your Masala Tea being prepared.  Filter it to the serving cups and serve hot with choice of Indian breakfast, snacks or biscuits.
