Hing Powder

(Compounded Asafoetida Powder)

Option Bandhani Hing Powder is made using the perfect blend of several varieties of asafoetida roots sourced from countries like Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Baluchistan, Iran etc.  A pinch of Option's strong hing powder is enough to give the right flavour & aroma to the Indian tadka. 

 

 

APPLICATION

A pinch of Option Hing Powder can be added in preparation for Indian Tadka  for several preparations such as dals, sabjis.  It is also used for enhancing digestion system of human body.

Recipe of Aloo Sabji for Kachori (Mathura Style):

Heat oil.  Add cumin, coarsely grinded red chilli, clove and black pepper.  Add OPTION Hing Powder (little more than regular usage) & garam masala powder.  Add ginger paste and let it cook for 1 minute.  Now add mashed boiled potetoes and mix all together well. Add water and cook for 5 mintures.  Add little roasted besan flour that will help to bring the right consistency to the gravy.  Add salt as per taste.  Cook this at slow flame for 15 mintures so that all flavours of hing and masalas come out well.  Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.  The special Mathura style aloo sabji is ready to be served with Kachori or Bedai Puri.
